About

About
I’ve lived in Virginia since 2000, but was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.

After graduating from WLAC in California, I studied studio arts through UCLA’s extension arts program, and concurrently I studied graphic design as a career option. I subsequently worked as a graphic artist over a twenty year period both in California and in Virginia. Current creative pursuits consist of printmaking and painting.

Artist Statement
Forms appear to us in nature and in our imagination. Only one is real but both appear as real. When examining abstract work each of us will see something different. Why is that? My current abstract prints and paintings develop around these and similar contemplations, and through a personal process of applying ink and paint. I search for stories, characters, and visual uncertainties and give them a place to be seen.

"Begin in gratitude. End in humility."  -  CMW
